On February 24, when Russia launched a full-scale invasion, I packed up and left Kharkiv, in eastern Ukraine, for the West. Not understanding where I am going and what awaits my country, I take photos from the train in panorama mode, which glues them into the disturbing landscape of Ukraine on the first day of the war.
