100 Days of War 2022
During the first months of the war, I left my home and started a new life in Lviv, worked as a photographer and a fixer, and spent much time with displaced people, including my friends and family. I kept all this experience and reflection on it in a diary with photographs and my handwriting, hoping to share what it means to face the war as an insider. I took photographs every day and printed them with my Instax printer to put into the notebook, thinking that I could grasp both the beginning and the end of this dramatic story. But eventually, I realised that the war would not be finished any soon, and this is not a diary of the country which is going through the war, but more about how the war changed the life of Ukrainians and how we adapt to it, how we fight and how we accept, how we change our values and face a new reality.
